Verto Training Academy

Written by Tracey Carr, who is both a Member of The Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) and a Member of The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM), this course has been specifically designed to encompass all of the every day factors a Waking Watch member of staff will face and what the key do’s and don’ts of their role are. 

This training not only covers the basics of Waking Watch, but it details the purpose of Fire Safety Legislation and why features such as Cladding and Fire Compartmentation are so important when carrying out a Waking Watch service. The training provides the induvial learner with the confidence of all of the key factors they need to know in every day duties to when there is a real emergency on site.
